3 Distinct Luxury Condominiums
Designed in 1883 by noted Back Bay architect Carl Fehmer, 255 Marlborough Street was a daring, experimental version of the Queen Anne style. While the home boasts an oversized and rounded bay, the superfluous decorative detail of the earlier Victorian era on the exterior has been all but eliminated. Instead, Fehmer focused on the play of light and shadow provided by molded brick and brownstone in what was then a thoroughly modern style. The interior, however, had classical flourishes, such as intricate paneling, stained and leaded glass windows, as well as carved period fireplaces.
It is these beautiful finishes, combined with the home’s dramatic scale, that inspired a complete revamping of this five-story plus garden-level townhouse into three spacious duplex residences, ideal for today’s way of living.

(All of the kitchens at 255 Marlborough have top-of-the-line appliances from Bosch, Viking and Sub-Zero.)
The Garden Level of this residence features the perfect Master Bedroom suite, with a marble-lined, en-suite Bath that is finished with the finest polished nickel fixtures and contains a step-in shower and steam bath.
